Take Back the Night is Friday. The Naked I/Remy's second fundraiser is Saturday. Lisa's second annual swap is Sunday.
Various other smaller lunchtime/afternoon events are going on. As are some events I won't be attending.
I don't do anything besides go to stuff. It's hectic and informative and bear few tangible results.
looking forward to blogging for fair pay, and writing about street harassment (best ideas ever guys).
oh- going to morocco for fall. and i got a german award (lol) which sucks cuz now i have to go to an award dinner. jeez.

Being so busy sucks sometimes, especially when it feels like you're just going and going, but never going anywhere with life. That's how I feel right now, because 7 hours of school is a waste of time. But life and time is way too precious to waste it doing things you don't want to do just because you feel like you should. I trust that you are making good choices with your time and I'm sure that if you realize you're not, you'll figure out a way to change that.
Keep me/us updated on all the fundraisers and various activities.
By the way, have you started any groups at school or do you just join existing groups? I'm trying to figure out how to get done what I want once I get to college in terms of social justice, and I'm not sure how I will go about getting support for a new group if I don't know many people...

The results don't have to be immediately tangible. They make their mark, and there is something to be said for the process rather than the result anyway. :)
