Career Goals:

freelance pro bono sex therapist.

Other News:

Take back the night was awesome- in the awe inspiring sense. It is cool to walk (march) in a group and be not just safe, but powerful. And it's really incredible seeing what a night like that means to people who don't feel safe all the time - Someone came up to my friend late in the evening and thanked her for telling her story "because it made her feel less alone". I hope we can create safer places on other nights and elsewhere in our lives so that nobody feels too alone.

Fundraiser went well, got gorgeous earrings.

Had dinner Wednesday with a boy I met at take back the night who i had THE BIGGEST CRUSH on.

Slept in a tent on the student union lawn Thursday.

Spent Friday night with greg and friends, doodled.

Went to a bit of a concert, saw daniel!, went to a bit of a frat party (met a friend of eve's who is adorable, and he thought i was a dyke because of my hair which is totally ok with me), went to sammy's for a highlighter party, went over the boy i had a crush on's house and had a good night.

about to write a paper.

coming up:

UNIVERSITY PRO CHOICE COALITION'S ANNUAL BENEFIT SHOW
its a concert, 18+, at the dinkytowner, friday. go with me :)

QUEER SPEED DATING
its kindof tongue in cheek/a joke, but it's totally happening, at the st paul student center, saturday. go with me, but separately, so ppl don't think we're together ;)

kisses

(betsy, the baby you mailed me had died by the time i opened the box. so you were right, next time we should pay extra for express shipping.)

That sounds like an excellent career goal! It's a great way to engage with people, it's important work, and it's interesting. What more could one ask for?

i know right? it also lends legitimacy to my unwritten book - which will be no longer be a memoir, but rather a collection of case studies

I haven't read that book yet, what's it about? Also, I think sex therapy is so interesting. I've been thinking a lot about how I will approach sex as I get older, and I hope I continue to have and enjoy sex until the day I die. Also, I always love to read about your life updates.

spirit catches you and you fall down: is about a hmong girl with epilepsy and how her parents think she should be treated for it vs how the american doctors think she should be treated. you would like it, and you would gt to learn lots about hmong history/culture

you should tell your kids that masturbating is normal. i think thats the single most important sex lesson everyone should receive.

and thank you :)
