SOPHIE LEARNED HOW TO PLAY WITH A TOY. She picked up her brush in her mouth and then ran across the room with it and then she dropped it, and picked it up and ran the other way. It was so cute! She can pick up things and run with them! I am so excited!
I just wrote a paper on an event I went to for Women and the Arts. The event was a play, entitled Getting to the Dance Floor: A Salsa Guide for Women. It was a humorous accounting of a feminist Latina ethnographer's experiences in LA Nightclubs. I wrote about how old fashioned traditional Cuban dancing was seen as less cool than new showy LA Style dancing which became a bit too trendy and led some girls to create their own dance styles! How cute.
At work, my boss told me to do a complicated project that took me lots of hours and he told me to use A COMPLETELY WRONG set of data to do it. So now I am to redo it, except the correct data is going to come in bit by bit, not all at once, so I am to redo it bit by bit which is annoying as fuck. Grown ups suck a lot.
Greg's brother is coming for a visit and I'm going to meet him. Nervous excited?
I want a better understanding of national debt. I want a big chart of all the countries in the world's surpluses and debts and an explanation of why countries borrow money, what for, how they pay it back, and the rest of my questions.
