I'm allllll done with Women and the Arts and with German Lit.
For Global Studies:
I still need to write an essay about Orientalism, The Colonial Present (READ THIS BOOK), and Barbarian Virtues.
I still need to take a quiz about Barbarian Virtues.
For German Women Writers:
I need to write this essay- "pretend a friend or family member wrote you an email asking about your classes. what would you email them back about this class?"
And a second essay about language, different germanies (germany v austria, east v west, white v other), or different how different genres work
For History of the Middle East:

Other things that aren't classes:
The first person to call me about my room, also the first person I showed my room to, wants my room! that was pretty easy so far. Also, showing this guy my room was a fun experience that went like this-
"Sorry I'm a little late. Who's got the Rolling Stones truck?"
"That's my roommate Abby's."
"Sweet. I've got a Rolling Stones tattoo" proceeds to take off shoes.
"Thats awesome. Cool shoes, too"
"Thanks. They're from 1947"
"Whoa. Cool Post World War shoes then."
dude also had 80's rock star hair. long and wavy.
Oh! and I'm moving in with Greg!

I love you ... orientalism is silly. All men are short and little but EVIL and deceptive and all women are exotic and beautiful and easy to dominate. (note dripping sarcasm)
... my English class just had a huge discussion about it.
