Nights, Days

Let's see.

Greg is back gone again, but it's ok because I will see him in one week and one day. He's spectacular!

I saw Aly on Monday and I feel bad. She really wants to do arts and crafts or go biking and I just don't have energy for real activities post work. I want to spend very very low key time with friends, because I love to see my friends, but it's exhausting for me and I don't have time to do fun things. And of course, lots of times like last night when she Meg and Shan went to Germanfest i don't have time to do things period because I have a shift. My dad asked me yesterday if I'd gotten to see all the friends I wanted this summer and the answer is a pretty obvious no. I have a long list of people who mean the world to me, and a very short list of times I've been able to go out with them. It's not great, it makes me sad, and it makes me more sad when I know they're hurt by it. But I still haven't taken out a loan, because I want to be able to travel as soon as I graduate, and I don't know another way to do this. So I'm sorry, and I'm stuck.

I saw Erin from work on Tuesday! That was really fun for me because I haven't hung out with a work friend from Vickies before. I also got to be a reference for her in her job search. I really enjoyed exaggerating how difficult and important customer service at Victorias Secret can be, and telling them how Eirn is just fabulous.

I also went to see Dark Knight super late and loved it. I wanna see it again. Wanna see it again?

And then otherwise, I've been working and lovign the fact that I have four weeks left. I am so capable of making it through four weeks, even if I work two jobs every day. Four weeks means an end in sight. Awesome!

Sophie is adorable, and needs some more attention. I can give her a bit, but I'm looking forward to more consistent playtime and veggie feeding once I'm back at school. She's a darling fluffernutter all the time though.

Joe is freaking fantastic. He brought up Jane, from Ender's Game in the middle of a conversation. He gave me an edition of Gone with the Wind which was published only a year after it very first came out. We played sweet go find the idea games on Wikipedia. (How to play: think of an idea, like gazelle. Hit random article. Use the links to other pages to find your way to the page for gazelle. Be a winner.)

Finally, my wisdom teeth are out! I was SO TERRIFIED because I HATE DENTISTS but before I knew it I was asleep, and then I was awake and in mom's car and had all this gauze shoved in my mouth. So I did it! I think I'm supposed to have gauze in my mouth right now, but I'm convinced I can heal myself better than anyone else can and it felt yucky so I took it out. I'm going to sleep and be hurty the rest of the night, and tomorrow watch movies with friends and eat soft foods.

I have officially earned a new piercing, which of course means I'll get two so I can try and wrangle some buy one get on half off kinda deal. So cannot wait!!!!!

I LOVED The Dark Knight, holy shit. Also, your bunny sounds adorable, your work schedule sounds like mine, and getting wisdom teeth out is never as bad as it sounds.

I deeply miss hearing about your life.
If you're in the cities in the next nine days, I would like to see you more than anything else in the world. Except Egypt would be pretty damn cool to see too.

I loved Dark Knight, Ledger and the script pretty much made the movie. Plus I have a deep affection for Maggie Gyllenhaul (sp?) from her role in Secretary. Have you seen it?

I get my wisdom teeth/tooth (I only have one!) out on Monday. I wish you'd hold my hand, I'm kind of afraid of going under ether, in fear I'd never wake up.

I think a bunny is the bestest animal friend for you. But I just saw Donnie Darko, so I hope you didn't name your bunny Frank.

Missin your Kisses,
Your darling diddily duwop.
(We have 5 pages of wall to walls, BTW.)
