Ready, Set, Go Everywhere (Part 2)

The weekend after that I left Greg’s, and my ubercoat and all my junk at Greg’s (thanks), around six a.m. I arrived at the bus stop to a group of little kids running down the slide of the mini indoor playground there and screaming when they bumped into each other, a human symphony written for the E string that ended when the bus arrived. Looking out the windows as we drove out of the city was exhilarating- I texted James that “I’m most happy, completely where I am meant to be, and at my very best” in going-places-moments. Nine hours later a dashingly handsome acquaintance of mine met me at the bus stop in Iowa, and took me back to the dorms (bigger that ours, but communal bathrooms) to join in the ‘pregame festivities.’ I borrowed a Vote Naked tshirt for the bar crawl and looped in and out and over a series of doors and dance floors, all for free with the tee and Gretakin’s trusty ID. Rewind and replay to see Saturday, with minor differences including a cute mini dress, more dancing, and a million drunk dials. Oops, sorry guys. Lazy Sunday (tell me you’ve seen the video?) worked its way through homework, a burrito, and a rainstorm before finally collapsing back on the bus. Rainy nights in cars. Perfection.
